GETTING BEHIND MATT SKELHON AND LONDON 2012
We are delighted to announce that we are now supporting local Paralympics Rifle Shooter Matt Skelhon as he attempts to qualify for the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
Following the appointment last year of BMW Group as the Official Automotive Partner of the Games, BMW is now actively supporting British athletes, such as Rebecca Adlington and Tom Daley, via the BMW London 2012 Performance Team. Meanwhile, in line with the Performance Team initiative, BMW Dealers like us will be working with local athletes, supporting their endeavors to qualify for Team GB or ParalympicsGB.
Matt trains locally just outside of Peterborough and lives in Stilton.
He was born on the 30th October 1984 and has been shooting since 2006, but has already won an Olympic Gold Medal in the Beijing Olympics.

Our staff and customers are keen to support London 2012 so we’re really happy to be backing Matt Skelhon – especially since he is such a talented athlete, right on our doorstep.
It is unfortunate that he and his sport are so unrecognised and we hope to help him raise awareness of his progress leading up to the games and beyond”
