Rental rates. All rates are inclusive of VAT, Insurance and BMW Assistance. All rates exclude fuel. Vehicles must be returned with a full tank of fuel, failing which the renter shall be responsible for the cost of refuelling. Insurance. All BMW Rental vehicles are insured. A copy of the policy is available on request. Damage liability. In the event of any damage to and/or loss of the rental vehicle, the renter is responsible for the payment of an excess charge as noted on the Rental Agreement. An additional damage liability payment may be made to reduce the excess amount on the policy, which is the responsibility of the renter who chooses to use our insurance. All vehicles are fully insured, but with an excess which can be reduced by payment of an additional fee. Damage which can be attributed to mistreatment by the driver, including damage to wheels and tyres, is excluded from the damage liability, and therefore fully chargeable to the renter. Please ask for further details. Unless BMW Rental is able to recover the cost of its damages from an identifiable third party, the renter/driver is liable for all damages to or loss of the vehicle occurring during the course of the rental. The renter is responsible for maintaining the correct levels of oil/lubrication/water during the rental period. Incurred roadside expenses which have been approved by BMW Rental will be refunded upon presentation of original receipts. Driver qualification. A minimum age of 21 and a maximum age of 70 apply. Drivers aged 21-30 may be excluded from certain vehicle groups or required to pay a surcharge. At the time of rental each driver must present a full valid national driving licence in his/her name, which must have been held for at least 24 months (an international driving permit is also required if the national driving licence is not in Roman alphabet). Certain endorsements may be accepted at BMW Rental's (and its insurer's) discretion. Only drivers approved by BMW Rental at the time of the rental are permitted to drive the vehicles. The renter is required to present additional identification (e.g. passport). Payment. Payment of the estimated rental charges and possible charges resulting from damage to or loss of the rental vehicle including security deposit, refuelling, damage liability charge or insurance excess deposit must be warranted at the time of rental. Credit cards are accepted in the limits authorised by the credit card company. Vehicles will not be rented against cash or cheque payments. Extension of rental period. The rental may only be extended before the expiry of the original rental period and subject to the approval of BMW Rental. Further pre-payments will be required at this time. If the extension request cannot be accommodated you will be required to return the vehicle at the end of the original rental period. Foreign travel. All rates quoted are for use in the United Kingdom only. Vehicle availability. Every effort will be made to supply the vehicle requested, however, BMW Rental reserves the right to offer an alternative model. Rights reserved. BMW Rental reserves the right to alter the rates, terms, conditions and period of rental and to refuse rental at its discretion. BMW Rental Age Limits Minimum age restrictions apply for BMW Rental at Wollaston as follows: A minimum age of 21 for the hire of BMW 1 Series models A minimum age of 25 for the hire of BMW 320d, Z4 and X3 models. A minimum age of 30 for the hire of BMW 330i and 5 Series models A maximum age of 70 applies for all models. An insurance excess of £500 and deposit of £500 applies to BMW 1 Series models. An insurance excess of £500 and deposit of £500 applies to BMW 320d, Z4 and X3 models. An insurance excess of £1,000 and deposit of £500 applies to BMW 5 Series and 330i models. |
